This is a top quality woodburner and power carver in one box. It is a fusion of the Optima 1 wood burner & Optima 2 plus micro motor tool power supplies. The Ultima is ideal for the person on the go, or in need of more space on his/her work bench. With the features of both the Optima 1 burner and the Optima 2 Plus micro motor unit, the Ultima is great for people who take their tools with them when they travel or go to carving classes. The Ultima power supply and cords carry a lifetime manufacturers parts and labor warranty against manufacturer defects. Because the motor tool is a moving part, it carries a full one year manufacturers parts and labor warranty against manufacturer defects. An 1/8" collet and 3/32" collet reducer are included. The 40 Watt Electronic power unit gives precision temperature control, with a very wide range of heat. It is especially good at holding steady temperatures at the cooler settings, where some other brands go from too cold to "too hot", with no control in between. Even when on the move, and encountering different line voltages, you can reset the low-end adjustment so that your burner settings are like you have at home. The Optima 1 (single or dual burner) carries a manufacturers life time parts and labor warranty against manufacturing defects for the power supply, HD cord, and pen body. Burning tips are excluded, as their use (or abuse) is beyond our control. (Also available for 220/240 power supply.)

The Optima 2 Plus power carver comes with a 35,000 RPM hand piece. You may elect to upgrade to the High Speed 45,000 RPM hand piece for just a little more. Changing bits is a snap with the quick change collets. 1/8" collet, and 3/32" collet reducer are also included. A 1/16" collet or collet reducer is also available for both handpieces. Collets:
Available in 1/16", 3/32", and 1/8" sizes.
Collet Reducers:
3/32" Reducer into 1/8" Collet.
1/16" Reducer into 3/32" Collet or Reducer.
Reducers eliminate the need to change collets. They are very handy for anyone who frequently changes bits of varying shank sizes, or prefer not to fool with changing collets when using bits that have varying shank sizes.
Hand pieces now come standard with the upgraded straight cord, and include an 1/8" collet and a 3/32" collet reducer.
