Bonnie Gibson is a self taught crafter, preferring to work with three dimensional media, such as gourds. Living in Arizona for about 30 years, she became fascinated with, and profoundly influenced by, the traditions of southwestern Native Americans and regularly uses designs inspired by pottery from the region.

The work of Bonnie Gibson is featured in numerous galleries. She also leads classes and workshops regularly, teaching a variety of techniques specific to gourd crafting.
