These dyes are specifically formulated for use with suede and nubuck. Guaranteed to impart a lasting color which will not peel or crack. Theys are excellent for use in the manufacturing or re-coloring of shoes or any other suede item.
The final colors that you can expect to obtain will vary significantly. They will be affected, in part, upon the amount and concentration used and the color you are dyeing over. Pictured below are actual images of the suede dyes, but they are intended to be used only as a guideline toward what you can expect as a final result.
We do not personally work with leather. These products are designed especially for leather, but we use them in our art work on gourds, and so cannot give specific advice concerning leather. You should consult a professional in the leather field.
We strongly recommend first preparing the leather by cleaning thoroughly with Easy Cleaner.
Water & Stain Repellent should be used as the finisher for suede dye. It will seal and protect the suede finish.
Need extra Wool Daubers? If you don't now - you will later.
Dye Liners are 'component pens', available in two sizes - fine tip and broad tip. You can fill these pens with your color of choice, and then use them to apply small amounts with precision.
For detail work; apply by the smidgen, or even less, into the very smallest and tightest of areas.
